He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Walecka and Mildred Walecka (Sticka); and his brothers-in-law, Duane LaPalm, Bernard Van Den Plas and Allen Dahlke.
He is survived by: his wife Vernelda Treml; his children, Sherry Bartell (Denis) and Randy Walecka (Melissa); his granddaughters, Elizabeth and Brooklyn Walecka; his sister Joyce LaPalm; and his in-laws, Harold Treml (Carol), Rose Dahlke, Leonard Treml (Mary Lou), Delores Van Den Plas, Gerald Treml (Marlene), Myron Treml (Petrine), Linus Treml (Mary), Jerome Treml (Lori) and Jim Treml (Jackie).
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM. A prayer will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Kewaunee (1425 Ellis St, Kewaunee, WI 54216). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Hedwigs Catholic Church.
