He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob L. Schleis and Delores Schleis (Steinhorst); his sister Mary Ann Pardowsky; his siblings-in-law, Mark Salzsieder, Mike Pardowsky and Diane Schleis; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Glenda Michiels; and his brother-in-law John Michiels.
He is survived by: his wife Terri Michiels; his children, Brian Schleis (Jana), Kyle Schleis (Michelle), Kelli Peterson (Jeff) and Marissa Ramon (Kaydi); his grandchildren, Lexi, Vera, Ezra, Charlie, Ellie, Grant and Houston; his brother Rodney Schleis (Julie); and his siblings-in-law, Sue Wojta (Francis), Claire Hlinak (Lloyd), Joe Michiels (Debbie), Fred Michiels (Betty), Mike Michiels (Angel), Dan Michiels (Stacy) and Scott Michiels (Stacey). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, special family and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:15 AM. A rosary will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 7:15 PM at the Rosary /// Ursday Kinnard Funeral & Cremation Services - Kewaunee (1425 Ellis St, Kewaunee, WI 54216). A Mass will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Holy Rosary Catholic Church (521 Juneau St, Kewaunee, WI 54216).
