Arthur Smoot Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2025, at the age of 86, Arthur Smoot of Kiel, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Smoot and Evelyn Smoot (Hoerth); his son Randy Smoot; and his siblings-in-law, Walter, Allen, Roland, Warren, Stan Struve and Judy Lensmire.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Struve; his sons, Don Smoot (Dawn) and Joe Smoot (Brent Frederick); his siblings-in-law, Sharon V. Struve, Sharon Struve, Janice Struve and Tim Lensmire; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt-DeTroye Funeral Home (815 6th St, Kiel, WI 53042). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established in his name for Charities supported by the Lions Club.
