He was predeceased by: his parents, Clemens Sr. Konen and Cordula Konen (Guelig); his wife Lorraine Lenz; his son Harold Konen; the parents of child, Clemens Sr. and Cordula Konen; and his siblings, David, Jerome, James, Oscar Konen and Rosemary Jung.
He is survived by: his son Dr. Robert Konen (Janet) of Baraboo, WI; his daughter-in-law Kathy Konen of Howards Grove; his grandsons, Jason Konen (Jessica), Karl Konen, Daniel Konen and Nicholas Konen (Sydney); his great grandchildren, Aiden and Ashlyn Konen; his foster brothers, David Matthies and Darwin Matthies; and his friend Loretta Mauer.
Memorials may be directed to Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Louis Corners.
