He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Bartell and Alice Bartell (Wick); his parents-in-law, Rosie and Gregory "Frickie" Klinzing; and his siblings-in-law, Ed Klinzing (Kay), Robert Klinzing, Jeff Krug and Eileen Klinzing.
He is survived by: his wife Marlene; his children, Don Bartell (Lynn), Connie Spalla and Tammy Konen (Dean); his grandchildren, Corey Bartell (Savannah), Adam Bartell (Marinella), Heather Berber (Ivan), Austin Spalla, Mariah Schmitz (Eric) and Grant Konen (Makenna Mooney); his great grandchildren, Warren, Adanella, Maddox, Macallan, Mallory and Marley; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Sonny and Mikey; and his sisters-in-law, Karen Krug and Tess Butz (Ron). He is also survived by nieces: nephews: and many friends.
