He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Doris Gross and the late Steven Gross; wife: Melanie Schorer; son: Ben; sisters: Patty (Tim) Smith and Monica Schmitz; parents-in-law: Wayne and Kay Schorer; brother-in-law: Mark (Angie) Schorer; sister-in-law: Tonya (Kevin) Kolb; other: Richard Buchholz, Uncle Jerry; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:15 PM at the Meiselwitz-Vollstedt-DeTroye Funeral Home (815 6th St, Kiel, WI 53042). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established in Jim's name.
