With sadness, we share the passing of Neil C. Hansen of Kiel, Wisconsin. Neil, born on March 7, 1938, passed away on October 6, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Neil for his warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While he will be deeply missed, the influence he had on the lives around him remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. Neil’s memory will live on in the hearts of friends and family, a lasting reminder of the connections and experiences he brought to the world.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Hansen and Mildred Staffeld; and his sister Mary Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Kim Albrecht (Jim), Polly Doute (Chuck), Erik (Ofelia) and Faith Brown (Dave); and his brother Charles. He is also survived by grandchildren & great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Trinity Lutheran Church (387 Cemetery Rd, Kiel, WI 53042). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod or Trinity Lutheran Church in Kiel, WI.
