She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Schmitz and Josephine Schmitz (Halbach); her husband Joseph Wasmer Jr.; her children, Mary Jo Wasmer (Kathy) and Mike Wasmer; her grandson Derek Schnell; her siblings, Kenneth Schmitz (Agnes), Donald, Marvin, Gerald Schmitz, Janet and Mary Jane Schmitz; and her siblings-in-law, MarJean Schmitz, Gene Scholz, Bill Joas and Alan Wagner.
She is survived by: her children, Rick Wasmer (Carla), Vicky Heberlein (Bob), Jerry Wasmer (Nancy), Debbie Schnell (Terry) and Harold "Butch" Patzke (Denise); her siblings, Glenroy Schmitz (Marjean "Mittie"), LeRoy Schmitz, Allen Schmitz, Joan Scholz, Carol Joas and Linda Wagner; her sisters-in-law, Romilda "Millie" Schmitz and Anna Mae Schmitz; and her friends, Vera Graves, Joanie Fuhrmann and Rick Henschel. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
