He was predeceased by: his parents, Anton E Helbing and Mildred Helbing (Wilke); his brothers, Wayne Helbing (Jane) and Herb Helbing; his brothers-in-law, Ken Dalsing (Jane), Clete Dalsing, Jim Dalsing (Donna) and Dan Dalsing; and his nephew Kent Dalsing.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Kay Helbing (Dalsing); his daughter Alecia Thiele (Shawn); his grandchildren, Colin (Valerie Adank) and Natalie Thiele; his siblings, John Helbing (Helen), Orlin Helbing (Judy) and Mary Klein (Alan); and his sisters-in-law, Peg Dalsing, Raine Dalsing and Carol Helbing. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812). A Mass will be held on Friday, November 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (3685 County HHH, Kieler, WI 53812).
In place of flowers, a Bob Helbing Memorial Fund has been established in his name.
