He was predeceased by: his parents, Everett Rooyakkers and Margaret Rooyakkers; his stepmother Mary Kay Krause; and his brother Danny Rooyakkers. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Rooyakkers (Kokke); his children, Nathan, Lindsay and Evan Rooyakkers; his siblings, Cindy Van Handel, Don Rooyakker (Tina), Patti Grgic (Davor) and Becky Bowe; his parents-in-law, Henry John and Barbara Kokke; his grandson Evan; and his friend Rae Kirkwood.
Visitation was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Alliance Church (2693 Grand Chute Blvd, Appleton, WI 54913). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family will donate to the following causes: Saint Joe's food pantry of Menasha, WI, the American Heart Association (https://pages.heart.org), National Public Radio, Wisconsin Public Broadcasting Service, Appleton Mile of Music, 91.1.
