He was predeceased by: his parents, Amanda Braun (Rietz) and Earl Braun; his wife Eleanore (Amy); his sister Lois; and his brother-in-law Tony Rios.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Evers (Marty), Todd Braun of Norman, OK, Sandra Hughes (Lee) of Attomattox, VA and Michelle Froehlich (Jeff); his close friend Verna Hibbard; his stepsons, Blaine, Larry, Kent and Terrell Henkel; his grandchildren, Deshonda Kelly, James Kelly, Martin Evers Jr. (Josie Troullier), Justine Braun (Brandon Kinnard) and Jordan Braun; his stepgrandchildren, Becca Garvens (Gerid), Michael Evers (Alicia), Rachael Evers and Lily Sexton; and his brother Douglas Braun (Donna) of Annandale, VA. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
