He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Etka and Lena Etka (Teach); his wife Dorothy "Dot" Etka; his siblings, Don, Bernard Etka and B. Joyce LeComte; his son John; and also, Adelle, Felix Meulemans and John Etka.
He is survived by: his daughter Mary Desens; his grandchildren, Rachael Etka, Jonathan Desens (Stephanie) and Hunter Desens; and his siblings-in-law, Jean Kenjesky and Thomas Greunke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other extended relatives, and dear friends.
