She is survived by: her children, Carl Melchert Jr., Holly Behm (Tom) and Tana Aguirre (Jason); her grandchildren, Shayla Melchert, Josiah Melchert (Sami), Nathan Melchert, Levi Melchert, Franchesca Peterson, Faith Behm, Caleb Aguirre and Riley Aguirre; her great grandchildren, Phoenix Melchert, Gracelyn Melchert and Sadie Melchert; her sisters, Ruth Montano, Neva Archiquette, Mary Ann Archiquette (Mike) and Jeanette Ninham (Robert); her in-laws, Ruth Melchert, Carol Melchert and Gary Melchert (Patricia); Lariah Penass. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in Rose's name.
