She was predeceased by: her parents, Jacob Lamers and Florence Lamers; and her brothers, Mike Lamers, Jim Lamers, Ralph Lamers (Sam) and Jim Vander Velden.

She is survived by: her sons, Jake Vander Velden (Bre), Clayton Vander Velden (Sara) and Ross Vander Velden; her grandchildren, Collin, Alec, Leo, Aven, Livie and Ellie; her siblings, Judy Schumacher (Dennis), Diane Piette (Pat), Al Lamers (Debbie), Chris Lamers (Jean) and Tracey Lamers (Denise Kander); and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Oast-Lamers and Mary Lamers.

In lieu of flowers a memorial fund has been established in Sharry's honor.
