He is survived by: his children, Julie Kolonick (James), Terri Knaus (Gerard) and Todd Larsen; his grandchildren, Timothy Kolonick (Katie), Tara Nesbit (Chris), Daniel Kolonick (Rebecca), Katelyn Leiner (Jarett), Christa Nenahlo (Cole) and Jonathan Larsen (Lizzie); his great grandchildren, Owen Nesbit, Wyatt Kolonick, Kallen Kolonick, Ezra Kolonick and Fletcher Nenahlo; his sister Mickey MaGruder; and his brother-in-law Eddie Moeller. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
