He was predeceased by : his parents, Wallace Sr. Buettner and Hazel Buettner (Bopp); his wife Tina; his stepfather Louis "Bug" Flauger; his parents-in-law, Ross and Alice Maloney (Sax); his brothers, Clayton Buettner and Raymond Buettner; and his parents-in-law, Richard Kuchta, Gwen Kuchta, Richard Simonar, Sandy Maloney, Gin Maloney, German Shepherd and Spike.
He is survived by : his children, Lori Berendsen (John) of Howard, Tammy Deutscher of Pulaski, Bing Buettner (Barb) of Krakow, Troy Buettner (Chris) of Sobieski, Nicole Buettner and April Buettner of Seymour; his grandchildren, Benjamin Berendsen (Courtney Komorowski), Tyler Berendsen (Amanda), Hannah Canales (Ashton), Brent Deutscher (Amy), Ashley Collison (Matt), Kayla Progrant (Jeff), Josh Buettner, Jeremy Buettner (Holly), Megan Helgeson (Tom), Matthew Buettner (Sandra), Lydia Kedzierski, Maxwell Kedzierski, Amy Salesky (Rob), Erik Berendsen (Erika) and Luìse Dalè; his siblings, Itola "Babe" Stuart and Wallace Jr. "Sonny" Buettner (Frankie); and his parents-in-law, Lois Buettner, Fay Kuchta, Judy Simonar, John Maloney, Louis Kuchta and Barbara Shegonee (Sue Carriveau). He is also survived by 27 great-grandchildren.
