He was predeceased by: his parents, John Piechota and Mary Piechota (Kolak); the mother of his children Doris Piechota; his sons, Jim and Jeff Piechota; his granddaughter Maryann; his siblings, Anna Wedyck, Frank Piechota, Rose Gruetzmacher, John "Jack" Piechota, Henry Piechota, Mary "Peggy" Wypiszinski and Elizabeth "Betty" Kroll; and his son-in-law Bob Guenther.
He is survived by: his children, Ray Piechota (Lisa), Terry Guenther, Tom Piechota (Paul), Jan Piechota (Gary Linders), Tim Piechota, Bob Piechota (Lisa), Jackie Poels (Dean), Tony Piechota (Jeff) and Mike Piechota (Sheri); his grandchildren, Tamara Loch (Shane), Julia Piechota, Steven Piechota, Christina Piechota, Kelli Connors (John), Scott Guenther (Tonya), Vicki Piechota, Jeremy Piechota (Kortney), Josh Piechota (Tatianna), Billie Jean Hager (Keith), Joshua Hager (Allison) and Tamara Dolata (Nick); and his girlfriend Barb Christensen. He is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren: one great great-granddaughter.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Assumption B. V. M. Church (119 E Pulaski St, Pulaski, WI 54162). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 4th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
