It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Bennett (La Crosse, Wisconsin), who passed away on June 14, 2023, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordon Bennett and Freda Bennett; his parents-in-law, Keith Joseph Phillips and Marion Olive Wilhelm; his brother John Henry Bennett; and his sister-in-law Shirley Jean Redwine.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Joan Bennett (Phillips); his daughters, Cheryl Lee Bennett of Grand Rapids and Barbara Jean Miller (Leonard) of Sparta, Michigan.; his grandchildren, Katherine Ann Baker, James Andrew Baker of Grand Rapids, Ronald Alan Miller (Melinda) of Hamilton and Kari Elizabeth Lockard (Ryan) of Sparta; and his great grandchildren, Hunter Ryan Lockard, Karsen John Lockard, Madalyn Grace Lockard, Bennett Derck Lockard of Sparta, Catalina Alexa Miller and Roman Alan Miller of Hamilton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
