He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Forde and Minnie Forde; his wife Katherine E. Thingvold; his in-laws, John and Clara Thingvold; his siblings, Marie Williams (Roger) and Jerome Forde (Vina); his great-nephews, Shawn Austin and Michael Williams; his brothers-in-law, Charles, Paul (Corrine), Gerhard (Zola) and Norman Thingvold; his niece Brenda Hurley; his nephew John Thingvold; Alyssa Williams.
He is survived by: his daughters, Julie Smith and Judy Ford; his granddaughters, Tanya Erickson (Randy), Stephanie Printup (Monte) and Stacey McIlquham (Mac); his great grandchildren, Tyler Smith, Whitney Printup, Zackory Erickson (Hongting) and Ashley Erickson; and his brother Alvin Forde (Julia). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Trinity Lutheran Church, Freedom Honor Flight, American Legion Post #52, Salvation Army, or a charity of your choice.
