He is survived by: his wife Debra Polus; his stepdaughter Tiffany Blum (Jason) of La Crescent, Minnesota; his stepgranddaughter Brook Charlson (Niles); his stepgreat-grandson Hudson Charlson; his siblings, Judy Gonyea (Dale), Mark Erickson (Kathy), Mike Erickson (Debbie) and Steve Erickson; and his sisters-in-law, Marsha Becker (Frank "Butch"), Kathy Polus and Tracy Polus. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
