He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Richason and Roxa Richason (Jones); his wife Lola M. Mook; his siblings, Velma Richason, Melva Bauer, Theron Richason and Nelson Richason; and his son-in-law John Terry.
He is survived by: his children, Dianne Terry of La Crosse, Curt Richason (Nellie) of Beloit, WI, Elaine Riopelle (Edward) of Jonesville, MI, Vickie Hamaker (Peter) of Beaufort, SC and Craig Richason (Diane) of La Crosse; his grandchildren, Jenny Barwick and Kevin Hamaker; and his great grandchildren, Sinclair, Cole and Camden. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
