She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Benson and John Caldwell; her husband Irwin Bruce Sanborn; her sister Louise; and her grandson Kinhthi.
She is survived by: her brother John Caldwell, Jr.; and her children, Rachel, Julia, Martha, Ruth, James, John, Elizabeth and Brian. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and a host of extended family.
