He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Herold and Grace Herold; his brother Robin Herold; and his grandparents, George, Helen Herold, Henry and Alberta Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Dawn Stinson; his son Robert Herold (Lisa); his grandchildren, Brooklynn Herold and Wyatt Herold; and his siblings-in-law, Doug Stinson (Becky) of Westby, WI, Dixie Goede of La Crescent, MN, Darlene Stinson of LaFarge, WI, Debbi Horstman (Gary) of Holmen, WI, Denise Stinson of West Salem, WI and Doreen Kuschel (Dave) of La Crosse. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Immanuel Lutheran School.
