It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Allen Konkel of La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 12, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Konkel and Dororthy Konkel (Jahnke); his sister Joyce Affeldt; and his nephews, Tom Hicks, Bill Hicks and Jacob Konkel.
He is survived by: his siblings, Ken Konkel (Mary), Roger Konkel (Mary), Paul Konkel (Bonnie), Barbara Lewis, Joan Mueller, Carol Johnson (Ken) and Judy Maldonado; his children, Sarah Cook (John), Jordan Konkel and Dillian Konkel (Allison); his grandson James Cook; and his close friend MaryLu Lott. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
