He is survived by: his sons, David A. Deters Jr. (Keely) of Onalaska and Jordan A. Deters (Cheyenne) of Hermantown, Minnesota; his grandchildren, Parker Deters (Hailey) of Cloquet, Ethan Deters of Hermantown, Luna Deters of Onalaska and Sunny Deters of Onalaska, Wisconsin; his great grandchildren, Grecyn and Hugh Deters of Cloquet, Minnesota; and his siblings, Kay Carpenter of Holmen, Wisconsin, Bill Carpenter (Peggy) of Rhinelander and Ervin Carpenter (Kim) of Dodgeville, Wisconsin. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
