He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Melcher and Fred Melcher; his niece Mary Freeman; his parents-in-law, Herb and Gladys Lindner; his brother Lee; and his sister-in-law Carol Lindner.
He is survived by: his sister Dolly Ruth Collar (Botcher); his niece April Marie Freeman; his great-nephews, Daniel Freeman (Michelle) and Christopher Freeman; his great-niece Brittany Germanson; Andrew James (AJ) and Ophelia.
