It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donna J. Helefrich (La Crosse, Wisconsin), born in New Lisbon, Wisconsin, who passed away on August 24, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Smith and Lillian Smith (Langer); her husband Harry E. Helfrich; her brother George; her sister-in-law Jeri; and her great great grandchild Reyna.
She is survived by: her children, Bonnie Baker (John) of Maricopa, Arizona, Harry G. (Vicky) of Onalaska and John (Sheila) of La Crosse; her siblings, Sharon Rhutasel (Bruce) of Oregon, Wisconsin, Gary Smith (Sonja) and Richard Smith; Scott. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren; and nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
