Though Edwin may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edwin touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his father Carl Trotter; his wife Jeanette Starr Trotter; his mother Mildred Hofacre Trotter; and his daughter Rebecca Margaret Trotter. He is survived by: his children, C. Griffin Trotter and Amy Trotter Jarecki; his stepdaughters, Pamela Thomas and Kimberly Moss; and his grandchildren, Orion, Shane, Griffin and Moriah.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Episcopal Church (111 9th St N, La Crosse, WI 54601). The military honors will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the same location.
