It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eldon Thore Ellefson of La Crosse, Wisconsin, born in Viroqua, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 9, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Olaf Ellefson and Maline Ellefson; his son Kevin Ellefson; and his brothers-in-law, Tommy Bolstad and Tony Stalsberg.
He is survived by: his wife Fran; his sons, Tim (Tammy) of St. Louis, MO and Mark (Sharon) of Milwaukee; his grandchildren, Jake, Whitney, Zachary, Matthew and Halle; and his siblings, Gloria Overboe (Robert) of Westby, Shirley Bolstad of Viroqua, Betty Auch (La Monte) of Minneapolis and Bill Ellefson of West Prairie, WI. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
