It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ellen Jane Melby of La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 29, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Walter; her parents, Lindahl Hall and Mabel Olson Hall (Høylo); her brother LaVerne Hall; and her son-in-law Bill Bandell.

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Bandell and Kristine Meyer (Daniel); and her grandson Travis Meyer (Liz).

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Bethesda Lutheran Brethren Church in Westby or Norskedalen in Ellen's memory.
