She was predeceased by: her parents, William Pitz and Mary Pitz (Bogner); her husband Arnold A. 'Chuck" Fransen; her grandson Ron; her siblings, Irene Hoskins (Gerald), Ruth Fuchsteiner (Sylvester), Patricia Crowley (Daniel) and Raymond "Bud" Pitz (Joyce); her siblings-in-law, Julius and Catherine Fransen; and her nieces and nephews, George Fransen, Fred Fransen (Clara), Mary "Mame" Wurzel (Leo), Peter Fransen (Mildred), Joseph Fransen, John Fransen and Loretta Hegenbarth (Albert).
She is survived by: her sons, Jim (Margie) of Arlington and Dave (Janice) of La Crosse; her granddaughters, Samantha Holohan (Justin), Beth Gallinger (Geoff), Katie Fransen (Zach) and Ellen Barbosa (Rafael); and her great grandchildren, Jack, Matt Holohan, David Gallinger and Connor Fransen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, Esther's family would respectfully ask that you honor Esther's legacy by sharing a smile and warm greeting, and maybe even a piece of chocolate, with everyone you meet. Donations can be made in her name to Holy Trinity Catholic Church or any charity of your choosing.
