Gary William Gokey Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 6, 2024, at the age of 82, Gary William Gokey of La Crosse, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Gokey and Virginia Gokey (Breckler); his brother Eugene Gokey; and his parents-in-law, Leslie and June Leirmo.

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Leirmo; his son Lance Gokey (Kim); his brother Greg Gokey (Susan); his grandchildren, Heather Gokey (Matthew Keene) and Josh Gokey; and his siblings-in-law, Beth Weibusch (Jeff), Carrie Brudos (Jim), Carl Leirmo (Flo) and Haldis Leirmo. He is also survived by 3 great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
