With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Geraldine E Gabriel of La Crosse, Wisconsin, born in Winona, Minnesota, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 15, 2024 at the age of 92. She was predeceased by: her parents, Mildred Hill Cady and Kenneth George Cady; her sister Georgia Zenk; her brother-in-law Raymond Zenk; her sister Gene Ann; her half-brother Clarence Cady; her parents-in-law, Esther and Anton Gabriel; her siblings-in-law, Richard Gabriel, Virginia Mayer, John and Chris Gabriel; and her close friend Myron Daily.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Gabriel (Silke Sonntag), Ann LaBreche (Rauel), Eric Gabriel (Tracy), Jenifer Novak (Robert) and Daniel Gabriel (Sarah); her grandchildren, Parker (Ashley), Jackson (Kelsey), Paul Gabriel, Elisabeth, Josiah LaBreche, Layton, Elyse, Keara Gabriel, Jacob Novak, Nicole Ozanich (Michael), Joshua Novak (Carmen), Benson Strassburger (Sammy), Leo, Alice, Gage and Blaire; her siblings-in-law, Mary Gabriel and Walter Mayer; her friend Hmong; Azad Ali Kahn.

Memorials in her name may be made to a no-kill animal shelter or pet rescue, the Salvation Army or another cause of the giver's choice.
