He was predeceased by: his parents, William Wemette and Betty Wemette (Knutson); his sons, Jon and Jim; his in-laws, Leo and Leona Olson; his brothers, Gary, Roger "Barney", William and Richard; and his sister-in-law Betty Wemette (David).
He is survived by: his wife Linda E. Olson; his daughter Julie Kauss (Joe); his grandchildren, Jacob, Justin Wemette, Jade, Karly Wemette, Joe and Jamison Kauss; his brothers, David, Joe (Deborah), Dan (Irene) and Robert; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Starch (David) and Judy Wemette. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Seland Funeral Home (204 Central Ave, Coon Valley, WI 54623). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
