She was predeceased by: her parents, Jens Anderson and Mathilda Anderson (Durrhammer); her husband Gerald A. Greider; her daughter Nancy Swenson; and her sisters, Delores Ritter and Dorothy Schaefer.

She is survived by: her children, Sue Steensrud (Grady) of Kennesaw, GA, Patti Greider of St. Louis Park, MN and Jerry Greider of La Crosse; her grandchildren, Carrie Steensrud of Kennesaw, GA and Scott Swenson of Ettrick, WI; and her siblings, Joanne Moore (Aly) of Onalaska and Merlin (Karen) of Apple Valley, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
