It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Frederick Guepfer of La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on November 30, 2025, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Guepfer and Harriet Guepfer; his former wife Nancy Powers-Guepfer; his brother-in-law Don Zimmerhakl; his sisters, Carol Howe and Gail Guepfer; and his sister-in-law Donna.
He is survived by: his wife Howie; his children, Kyle Guepfer (Megan) and Kayla Helland (Alex); his grandchildren, Jaxson, Emmy and Jessa; his siblings, Nancy Guepfer (Dave Case) and Dave Guepfer; his siblings-in-law, Mary Zimmerhakl and Larry Howe (Patty); and his nieces and nephews, Mandy Hess (Jason), Nikki Kuechenmeister (Jason), Makenna Guepfer, Lee Zimmerhakl, Michael Howe (Christina), Dave Fruth (Jennifer) and Ryan Bilskemper.
