She is survived by: her children, Christine Holmes of La Crosse, Scott Holmes of La Crosse and Dawn Holmes-Schalow of Norfolk, VA; her grandchildren, Steven Covey-Holmes, Gage Schalow (Hannah), Louis Holmes, Abigail Holmes and Jade Mills; her great grandchildren, Victoria Burk, Serenity Holmes-Howell and Lyle Schalow; and her sister Kathryn Swanson. She is also survived by many adopted daughters, sons, and grandchildren.
