He was predeceased by: his parents, Don Petersen and Rita Petersen (Mosey); and his sister Judy. He is survived by: his wife Joan Kay (Londkoski); his son Joel James (Patricia Buneker); his grandchildren, Arthur, Madeline, Maxwell, Julie Kay (Jeff Miller), Kahlen, Jessica, Jackson and Jordan; his great grandchild Kinleigh; his sister Nancy Petersen; his siblings-in-law, Pat Larson and Frank Hafner; and his nephew Michael Hafner. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Blaschke & Schneider Funeral Home (1501 West Ave S, La Crosse, WI 54601). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
