He was predeceased by : his parents, Selma Maier Haroldson (Hole) and Joseph Maier Sr.; his sisters, Mary Ann Wartinbee and Linda Curtis; and his siblings-in-law, Jim Wartinbee and Shirley Maier.
He is survived by : his wife Carol Maier of Onalaska, WI; his children, Debra Best, Douglas Maier (Janet), Diane Fitzpatrick (Tim), Dorothy Hannon (Mike) and Dawn Lamers (Quentin II); his grandchildren, Erik Best, Sara Wessel (Ryan), Doug Maier Sr., Melinda Maier (Matt), Katie Wrobel (Jake), Kyle Fitzpatrick (Antigone), Erin Blackfelner (Joe), Megan Van (Kyle), Reilly Hannon, Ashley Sharp (Jeffrey), Quentin III (Lamers) and Sydney Lamers; his great grandchildren, Caleb Best, Brayden, Brody, Brexten, Brenna Wessel, Doug Maier Jr., Sebastien, Colin, Elaina Maier, Easton, Brooks Wrobel, Ophelia, Bianca Fitzpatrick, Parker and Paisley Sharp; his brothers, Robert Maier and Joseph Maier Jr. (Marilyn); and his brother-in-law James Curtis. He is also survived by extended family and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Logan Alumni Association, La Crosse Boys and Girls Club, or a charity of your choice.
