It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan A. Marchiando of La Crosse, Wisconsin, born in Almond, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 23, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Sopa and Lillian Sopa (Konkel); and her sisters, Germaine and Adeline Sopa. She is survived by: her husband Richard "Rocky" Marchiando of La Crosse; her children, Laura Marchiando (Matt Hanson) of Onalaska, Anna Marchiando (Devin Curran) of Scottsdale, AZ and John Marchiando (Brynn) of Albquerque, NM; her grandchildren, Eva Marchiando, Henning Hanson, Sophia Marchiando, James "Rocky" Curran, Nolan and Adeline Marchiando; and her sisters, Theresa McCamley of Fountain City, WI, Caroline Kostroski and Cathy Rhutasel of Almond, WI. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials are suggested to Holy Trinity Parish or Bethany-St. Joseph Care Center.
