He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Gerhard and Lillian Kapanke; and his cousin Steve Kapanke. He is survived by: his parents, Paul Benson and Mary Benson (Leean) of Stoddard; his friend Jim La Fore (Sandy); his brothers, Jeff (Kathy), James (Kristy) and Joel; and his nieces and nephews, Jarod (Jamie), Kyle (Becca), Caleb, Brock (Yaya), Olivia and Jamie (Luke). He is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins, and a myriad of friends.
