With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John H. Ross of La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 20, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Helen Ross; his son Thomas Joseph Ross; his sister Kathleen Brindley; and his nieces, Kathy and Ingrid Brindley.
He is survived by: his parents, Romeo C. Ross and Magdaline Ross (Larson); his children, John Ross, Rosanne Maas (Karl), Susan Roers (Jeffrey), Barbara Crutchfield (Roy), Ellen Ross and Christine (Paul); his grandchildren, Laura Windpassinger (Jeff), Mark Hammond (Marília), Nick Maas, Andrew (Redington), Thomas, Daniel, Benjamin Roers, Katherine Wallace (Laurence), Matthew, Elizabeth Crutchfield, Grace, Jack Bossert, Grant, Rachel, Adam and Paumgartten; his great grandchildren, Annabelle and Theodore Hammond; his grandsons, Joseph Windpassinger and Wallace; and his nieces and nephews, Jeanne Reid, Janis Nichols, Michael (Bobbi Woodruff) and David Brindley. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blessed Sacrament Parish, St. Joseph the Workman Cathedral, Bethany St. Joseph Corp., La Crosse Library, or a charity of donor's choice.
