He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Meta Landro (Simon) and Martin Landro; his former spouse Beverly Lanz; his wife Diane Kempter of Holmen, WI; his children, Kathy Shannon (Kerry) of Ankeny, Kim Garrison (Tom) of Madison, WI, Jeff Landro (Candie) of Rochester, MN and Jason Landro (Alicia) of Madison, WI; his stepdaughters, Jen Kooistra of Oregon, WI, Aimee Derra of La Crosse, WI and Liz Leuenberger (Ben) of La Crosse, WI.; his grandchildren, Kevin Shannon (Ashley Wright), Adam Shannon, Indigo Garrison, Joe Garrison, Ethan Landro, Owen Landro, Cody Derra, Theo Kooistra and Arthur Kooistra; and his siblings, Ken Landro (Karen) of St. Louis Park, MN and Mary Whillock (Ivan) of Faribault, MN..

Pending the Covid pandemic, a celebration of life may be held at a later date.
