John Payne Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Payne of La Crosse, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 20, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hegbert C. Payne and Ruth Payne (Jonas); and his siblings, Gary Payne, Starleen Hendry (Sherril) and Janice Gilbertson (Robert).
He is survived by: his wife Pat; his sons, Jeffrey J. Payne (Rose) of St. Paul, MN and Timothy D. Payne (Kim) of Hudson, WI; his grandchildren, Katie Williams (Nate), Kellie Payne of Curtis, Zak Payne, Tyler Payne and Andy Payne; his great grandchildren, Emma Williams, Alice "Ali" Williams and Caleb Nordeng; and his brother Scott Payne (Dorothy) of La Crosse.
Memorials may be directed to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in La Crosse, the Mississippi Valley Conservancy or a charity of choice.
