She was predeceased by: her parents, Myron Ottum and Gladys Ottum (Hagen); and her sister Kathryn Hoffman. She is survived by: her husband John Jaeger of La Crosse; her son John Jaeger (April) of Coon Valley; her grandchildren, Karalyn Pagel, John M. and Alex; her sons, James Jaeger of Madison and Peter Jaeger (Dannie) of Madison; her grandchildren, Renata, Mae Harris, Christian and Jayquan; her daughter Sarah Paul (Preston) of Eau Claire; her grandchildren, Abigail, Hannah Heer, Rebekah Fosse, Nathanael and Isaac; her great grandchild Henry Fosse; and her siblings, David Ottum, Bill Ottum (Marilyn), Christine March (Larry), Sandra Hirsch (Richard) and Terry Ottum. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Faith Lutheran Church or Knutson Memorial Library.
