We are sad to announce that, on February 16, 2021, at the age of 66, Karen Kruse of La Crosse, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leland Brownlee and Adeline Brownlee (Bender); and her brothers, Donald, Michael and Ralph.

She is survived by: her former husband Harold R. Boebel (Dick); her husband Don Kruse; her children, Jason Boebel (Janet) of Cassville, WI, Jody Howell of La Crosse, WI and Jenny Martin (Shawn) of Bagley, WI; her stepdaughters, Kim Bender (Collin) of Waconia, MN and Kelley Pujol (Joe) of Cape Girardeau, MO.; her brother Robert Brownlee (Valerie) of Buffalo, MN; her siblings-in-law, Jean Kruse (Glenda) of Oakdale, CA, Pamela Brownlee of Woodman, WI, Helen Pinter of Fort Atkinson, IA, Mary Karau (Tom) of Scottsdale, AZ and Anne Olson (Dale) of Bozeman, MT.; and her grandchildren, Aaron (Kailey), Jett, Abrham, Gianni Boebel, Brandon (Nicole), Paige Howell, Zebulon Riley, Brock, Blake, Haley Bender, Allie, Jacie and Carly Pujol.

Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no luncheon following the service. Everyone attending is asked to please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
