She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Elsbernd and Luella Elsbernd (Schmitt); and her husband Edwin Garbers. She is survived by: her sons, Joseph of Chaseburg and Wis; and her siblings, Steven Elsbernd (Patty), Joan Mc Intire, Nancy Brincks (Donnie), Alan Elsbernd (Susan), Darrel Elsbernd (Terri) and Debra Beckman (Dean). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other family members.
