He was predeceased by: his father Edward; his brother David Lash; his parents-in-law, Jack and Eileen Knothe; his brothers-in-law, Barry Fagen and Philip Knothe; and his nephews, Conor Stein and Michael Knothe.
He is survived by: his wife Terry Knothe-Lash; his sisters, Collette Fagen and Rochelle Stieger; his aunt Betty Jane; his uncle Dick Hobelsberger; and his siblings-in-law, John Knothe (Peggy), Tom Knothe (Diane), Joan Stein, Ann Ritter (Mike) and Theresa Knothe. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
