With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lawrence Quillin of La Crosse, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lawrence left this world on July 25, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Joseph Quillin and Greta Riley Quillin; and his brothers, Philip (Barb), Lyle (Sandra) and James Quillin.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his sons, Shawn Paul Quillin (Laura) and Scott Kevin Quillin (Jane); his grandchildren, Molly Mackenzie Quillin, Allyson Quillin Singh (Akhil), Adam Christopher Duris (Vanessa), Kathryn Duris May (Charlie) and Matthew Peter Duris (Rachael); and his great grandchildren, Isabella Marie, Logan Peter, Giovanna Claire Duris, Hadley Jane May, John Oliver and Zachary Charles Duris.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (1333 13th St S, La Crosse, WI 54601). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, August 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Holy Trinity Parish (1333 13th St S, La Crosse, WI 54601).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Aquinas High School Foundation, Aquinascatholicschools.org/acsfoundation (https://www.aquinascatholicschools.org), a cause deeply meaningful to Larry's education, life and values.
