She was predeceased by: her parents, Ida Kupferschmid and W. Frohman Kupferschmid; and her husband Charles. She is survived by: her children, Steven Mathy (Lee' Ann), Scott Mathy (Gretchen) of La Crosse and Debra Mathy of Geyserville, CA; her grandchildren, William Mathy (Amy), Taylor Sauerman (Luke) of La Crosse, Christopher Mathy (Olivia) of Onalaska, Tanner Mathy (Clara) of Afton, MN and Makena Mathy of Chicago, IL; her great grandchildren, Charlie, Grace, Winston, Abe Mathy of La Crosse, Lee, Tatum Sauerman of La Crosse and Margot Mathy of Onalaska; and her brother George Kupferschmid (Net) of Perham, MN. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be given to the Charles F. and Leah Mathy Fund in care of the La Crosse Community Foundation, 300 2nd St N, La Crosse.
